Natural History Museum Of London

Among the many museums in London, the Natural History Museum is probably near the top in terms of being an interest to people from a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups to see. It is one of three large museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington. The construction of the Museum of Natural History took place between 1873 and 1881. The beauty of the building could in itself a reason to come see the museum, but, of course, most visitors are interested in the various exhibits in the museum. The most popular items are those with the dinosaurs, but there are all kinds of national collections of living plants and fossils, animals and minerals on the screen. The Natural History Museum is a center of world-class research specializing in taxonomy, identification and conservation.
