GIRL GUIDES
Girl Guides is a useful movement for teenage girls. It was organized in Britain in 1940. Mr. Baden Powell and his sister Lady Agnes were its founders.
This organization aims at making the school going girls aware of their responsibilities. Girl Guides have to spend some time in a camp where they are given intense training. She is given different program that build her character. She is taught how to keep herself clean and healthy. She learns different tasks of daily life. She is instructed how to live in a society. She learns the lessons of morality and ethics. A girl guide learns household skills. In this way she becomes able to perform her household duties. She learns how to help the needy and poor. Her behavior becomes courteous and friendly. Girl guides are different tasks to improve their capabilities. In short this movement provides a fabulous opportunity to the girls to shape their moral and social character. It is very helpful movement for girls to make them useful women for the society.
