Galungan Day

The word "Galungan"is derived from Old Javanese language, which means  winning  or fighting.  Galungan also synonymous with Dungulan, which also means  winning .  Because it is  in  Java,  theeleventh  wuku called  Wuku Galungan,  while in Bali  wuku  theeleventh  was called  Wuku Dungulan. His name is different, butmeans the same thing.  As in Java in the details of  any  designation pancawara  Legi  while  in Bali  called  Umanis,  which means the same: sweet.

Kuningan Day

Hari Raya Kuningan is celebrated every 210 days  or 6  months  inBali calendar, exactly on Saniscara Kliwon Wuku Brass. (1calendar month in Bali = 35 days)
On  the  holy day is told Ida Sang Hyang Widi down to earth to give blessings for the welfare of all people in the world. Often believed ,the ceremony at the feast of Brass should be done before noon ,before the time of the Betara back to heaven.
Brass is a series of ceremonies Galungan, 10 days prior to Brass.On the day it is made of  yellow rice, a symbol of prosperity and offerings-offerings as a token of appreciation and eyelash suksmaning we as humans (people) received a gift from Hyang Widhi of clothing materials and food are all delegated by him to his people on the basis of love-his love.

Nyepi Day

Nyepi Day is is one of the Hindu holy day is celebrated once a year . Nyepi Day is done in order to welcome the New Year Caka. Hari Raya Nyepi falls on the first day Sasih Kedasa (Balinese calendar) or about March and April.

Purification Bhuwana grand and Bhuwana alit (macro andmicrocosms) to realize the inner and outer well-being and happiness (jagadhita and moksa),  life based Satyam(truth), siwam (purity), and Sundaram (harmony / beauty).

Pagerwesi Day

The word "pagerwesi" means a fence of iron. It had  astrong protection. Everything that is fenced in high-value means something not to get trouble or defaced. Hari Raya Pagerwesi often interpreted by Hindus as a day to defend self in Balinese called magehang crew. Name of the Lord is worshiped on this feast day is Sanghyang Pramesti Teacher.

Sanghyang Paramesti Master is another name of Lord Shiva as a manifestation of God to melt all that bad. In his position as Sanghyang Pramesti teacher, he became a master of the universe, especially human. Life without a teacher the same as living without aguide, so that without direction, and all actions to being consequential.

Siwa Ratri Day

Shiva Ratri (Shiva Latri) means "night of Siwa", is a holy day to begthe forgiveness of sins before Hyang Widhi Wasa. The feast is also called the night of Shiva Ratri penance. This feast fell on purwaning Tilem sasih kepitu

Each end of these activities are carried out a praying. All activities undertaken was to conduct exercises and spiritual elevation. It is expected all the people who carry out  these activities can fill the spiritual events such as reading the Vedic scriptures, studying the teachings of religion, held a literary evening, and others.

Ngaben day

Ceremony  Ngaben or sometimes called Pelebon ceremony to the person who died, is considered very important, lively and vibrant , because with pengabenan the family can deliver the souls of people who died from his worldly ties to heaven, or transformed back into the world through reincarnation or birth again.
Because of this ceremony requires effort, cost and time of a long and fairly large, this is often done long after death.

Melaspas Day

Ceremony  "melaspas" also contains the meaning to turn the building so it can function in accordance with the place and position. Through melaspas ceremony, expected that all buildings that are used have been able to change the status from the name of stone, brick, cement, timber and other building materials into building a kitchen or other buildings.

In a series of ceremonies melaspas, also pleaded with  HyangWidhi Wasa -Lord of the god , to give strength and is pleased is pleased to make the building as a kitchen  provide welfare.

Otonan day

Otonan commemorated as the birthday with a small implement Yadnya  upakara usually led by the elder person and if upakara nyalarger dipuput aleh stakeholders (Pinandita). Principal ingredients as upakara in this otonan; banana kawonan, blow five, cone five,gebogan and sesayut.
According to Hindu tradition in Bali, in delivering the prayers otonan often use the spoken prayers called sehe (see) the prayer of the Balinese language spoken by penganteb otonan ceremony that has a psychological effect on the conduct otonan, because it coincides with the prayer was also performed of the symbols as having received a gift from the power of prayer.

Saraswati day

Saraswati is the feast day for worship Sang Hyang Widhi in its power  create knowledge and science of sanctity. This feast is celebrated once every six months ie on Saturday Umanis Wuku Watugunung. About depiction figure Goddess Saraswati as a beautiful woman can not be separated from theology, one of them Vedas describe God and His manifestation as the "Personal Good"(God impersonal). As with three-eyed Lord Shiva, Brahma with fourheads, which also includes Goddess Saraswati with a pretty facewith four.
